Information for TRAINS and BUSSES

Value card

To use pubblic transport in South Tyrol you need to buy either a Mobilcard (listed below) or a simple value card. A value card is an universal and a reusable ticket, that gives you the possibility to save some money for regional and urban travels. You can find them to the value of 5, 10 and 25 Euro, and buy them directly on the bus or in authorised shops.
Attention: you can use value cards only on regional trains and not in the trains IC/EN of Trenitalia.

Validate the ticket

Mobilcards and value cards are ordinary tickets and have to be validated. Therefore, you will find yellow machines in every train station (near to the ticket office or the tracks). It is suitable to validate the ticket before you enter the train, because if you are caught with an unvalidated ticket, you will get a fine.

With a Mobilcard you can use all South Tyrolean pubblic transports for three to seven days without any limit.

Museumobil Card

The Museumobil Card includes two offers: the unlimited use of pubblic transport for three to seven days and the entrance in one of the 78 Museums or Exhibitions in South Tyrol.

Bikemobil Card

You can use the Bikemobil Card for busses, trains or bike rentals in the whole region, for a value of day card, three - days card or weekly card.
